Geneology Death Record, Ancestry.com
I did some research on Ancestry.com yesterday. Geneology and Family History is actually pretty cool and interesting. Yesterday, I found my dad’s death record.
The record was scanned and indexed by the Ancestry.com folks. There are billions of records on Ancestry.com and it is a fascinating body of work they’ve done. My dad’s death record was from the Texas Department of Health; Texas Death Index, 1964 – 1998. My dad was a Chief Engineer of a large import/export ship, based in Malaysia. On a trip to the United States, he died while his ship was docked in Texas. I was pretty stoked to find this record.

Good stuff. I’m looking forward to finding other records related to me.
