Wait, a little background –
Two weeks ago, I announced that I would be giving away my Amazon.com shirts. The announcement can be [found here]. As of the deadline, August 31, 2006, 5PM PST, there were 33 people who dugg the post.
Methodology
So, to be fair, here’s the methodology I used:
I created a MySql table called SCHWAG that contains the 33 usernames. I then picked a random row number then ran the following query –
mysql>SELECT * FROMSCHWAGORDER BY RAND();
The Winner
I picked row 4, then ran the query above, and the username that was in row 4 based on the rand() function is
