YouTube Founder Caught Mumbling “Web 3.0″
Please, please, say it ain’t so:

Web 2.0 is lame and undescriptive enough and is over-used by many teeny-bopper type of folk; we don’t need to introduce the next ordinal digit into our lexicon and claim that a movement in social software. Please, please say it ain’t so.

I saw a similar reference in a NYT article and just about barfed. It’s time that “Web x.0″ goes the way of “cyberspace” and “the information superhighway”.
