Christmas Season, Lights, & Death
Thanksgiving was good; the turkey wasn’t that dry; and the rolls turned out just fine, and I’m reminded of Thanksgiving everyday by the weight I’ve gained. Now, The Christmas Season is here, people are crazy shopping today (Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year), and I’m home with the new baby.
Well, Merry Christmas…and the lights are starting to come up.
Here’s my crazy neighbor playing with death as he puts up his Christmas lights:

Here’s another close-up of the poor bloke:

I’ll put up lights this year, but not on our roof. Our roof is really high and I don’t want to risk death right now; I’m not risk averse by any means, it’s just that I don’t really care to put up Christmas lights I guess. I’ll put up some other items, but to be crawling around my 25 foot high roof isn’t that exciting to me.
Anyway, cheers to my neighbor and to those who risk their lives every year to put of a series of connected light bulbs on their roof, only to take it down after being up for 4 weeks.

Glad you’re enjoying the Christmas season this year. From what I’ve seen in the past months, it was probably a bit more hectic while you were at Amazon.
