DigForIt is for sale on ebay! starting bid was $.01 and the auction ends May 14, 2006. DigForIt is a meta search engine, similar to dogpile and jux2. a meta search engine sends a user’s request to several other, usually more popular, search engines and returns the results back to the user. i’ve played with DigForIt and it’s very cool and seems to be robust. Dogpile was acquired for $55MM; perhaps there could be a big windfall for the winner of this auction. below is a visual explanation of the logic behind DigForIt:
